| The Noel Studio is an integrated support service dedicated to improving students’ understanding of and practices in research, writing, and communication. To support the integrated nature of the Noel Studio, Consultants are cross-trained to assist with a variety of communication products (written essays, oral presentations, research posters, etc.) at any point in the development process (brainstorming, researching, drafting/practicing, editing, etc.). Consultants are required to assist students from across the curriculum, working with creative pieces as well as traditional academic products from nearly all disciplines represented at EKU. Consultants will work with students both individually and in small groups as needed, and may also facilitate/co-facilitate workshops in research, writing, and/or communication for the campus community. Consultants meet once per week as a group and participate in mandatory, paid training and professional development. |
