The Department of English at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting Academic Year 2025-2026. Applicants should hold an earned Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or a related field from an accredited institution at the time of appointment. ABD applicants may be considered but must have a Ph.D. (verified by official transcripts) at the time of appointment. The position begins July 31, 2025.
Applicants should have expertise in composition theory and practice and additional expertise in one or more of the following areas: developmental composition, dual credit writing, academic preparedness, literacy, or critical reading. |
