The Graduate Assistant (GA) for Housing Facilities Operations at Eastern Kentucky University serves as a member of the professional staff overseeing the daily operations of residence halls and on-campus apartment facilities. Reporting to the Associate Director of Housing Facilities Operations, the GA plays a vital role in maintenance coordination, custodial oversight, and service delivery assessment. This position serves as a primary liaison between housing staff, facilities technicians, and campus partners to ensure a high-quality living environment for EKU students. The CACREP-accredited Counselor Education Program in the Department of Clinical Therapeutic Programs at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor for Academic Year 2026-2027. Applicants should hold an earned Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution/program. ABD applicants may be considered with evidence of a scheduled doctoral defense that occurs no later than May 2026 prior to an August 2026 appointment. Applicants must also hold an active state counseling license and both be eligible for Kentucky clinical counseling licensure and willing to pursue Kentucky licensure within one year. The successful candidate will teach introductory to upper-level courses within SoAD, in their areas of expertise. The gallery is named for Fred Parker Giles, who served Eastern Kentucky University from 1939–64.
