The Department of Biological Sciences at EKU is seeking part-time Secondary Instructors to work with program faculty assisting in teaching undergraduate lectures and laboratories. Appointments will begin in Fall 2025 semester, with options to renew on a semester-to-semester basis. Course load may be up to 9 credit hours per semester, depending on need. Courses may include, but not limited to, Introductory Biology (for majors and for non-majors) and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching (or related) discipline, or hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching (or related) discipline. Degrees must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution. |

The Department of Applied Human Sciences invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach in Food & Nutrition.
Courses may include, but are not limited to NFA 201 (Essentials of Nutrition).
To be considered to teach undergraduate level courses, applicants should hold an earned Master's degree in food & nutrition or related field.
Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs. Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students
Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.
This is a pooled position. Applicants will be considered as the need arises. |
