Counselor, Transition and Intervention Richmond Campus
The Transition & Intervention Counselor is crucial in attracting talented students to Eastern Kentucky University and representing the unique offerings of specific colleges. Leveraging technology, relationship-building skills, and a deep knowledge of the assigned college, the counselor will engage with prospective students and families, high schools and community organizations to foster strong affinity and excitement about our academic programs. Once students are on campus and in classes, the Counselor provides direct, proactive, and responsive support to students experiencing academic, personal, or financial challenges that may impact their ability to persist at EKU. This position serves as a key intervention specialist, working closely with faculty, academic advisors, financial aid, counseling services, and student affairs to assist students in overcoming barriers to success. By utilizing the CRM (Slate), data and current trends, early alert systems, outreach strategies, and one-on-one coaching, the Transition & Intervention Counselor helps students navigate critical transitions (first-year, transfer, and re-enrollment) through the recruitment and enrollment cycles and provides targeted intervention efforts when students are at risk of disengaging or stopping out.

Admissions Recruitment Ambassador Richmond Campus
The Admissions Recruitment Ambassadors (ARA) play a vital role in shaping the visit experience at Eastern Kentucky University. As key representatives of the Office of Enrollment Management, ARAs assist in providing prospective students, families, and guests with a welcoming and positive atmosphere during their visit to the university. Their responsibilities include engaging with visitors, offering information, and ensuring that all guests have an informative and enjoyable experience. The ARA role demands individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to interact with the public, helping to enhance the university's recruitment efforts.
Orientation Leader Richmond Campus
Orientation Leaders (OLs) welcome new students and families to EKU during Summer Orientation and Big E Welcome by leading small groups, assisting with class registration, and providing support as mentors. Undergraduate Research Assistant Richmond Campus
The undergraduate research assistant will assist faculty with research preparation, workshop development, and supervised workshop facilitation support activities for an internal university-funded project on media literacy and deepfake evaluation. Responsibilities include assisting with preparation and organization of workshop materials, supporting assessment setup and administration, assisting with IRB-related documentation, coordinating participant recruitment and scheduling (post-IRB approval), delivering scripted workshop activities and instructions under faculty supervision, assisting with small-group discussions, supporting data collection during sessions, and maintaining organized project documentation. This is a research assistant position and does not involve independent teaching, grading, or primary instructional responsibility.

A country club server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to members and guests of the club. This may include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments.
Student Emergency Management & Security Technician Richmond Campus

Student Financial Aid Admin Richmond Campus
The Student Financial Aid department is currently seeking student employee(s) who will provide excellent and detailed administrative clerical support. The student worker(s) duties will involve scanning, indexing, checking mail, running errands on campus, clerical support and other assigned duties. We are seeking students who are available to work 15-20 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 4:30pm.
Business Tutor-Bratzke Center Richmond Campus
This is a position for current students who are passionate about tutoring student-athletes in various courses offered at EKU. Students employed in this position are responsible for ensuring the ongoing success of the program by serving as a learning resource for our student athletes and representing the Bratzke Center in a professional manner.
