Adjunct Instructor, Law, Politics, & Society	Iowa
The Program in Law, Politics, and Society (LPS) at Drake University is a unique interdisciplinary undergraduate legal studies program. Faculty come from various disciplines but share a commitment to undergraduate teaching and scholarship in the field of Law and Society. Students enjoy small, discussion-based classes on topics ranging from constitutional law to crime and film. Many students go on to law school, but LPS graduates can also be found in government, politics, advocacy, nonprofits, and more. LPS is housed in the College of Arts & Sciences, the largest academic unit at Drake University. Students choose from a variety of majors, including several unique interdisciplinary programs. The student experience includes opportunities for community engagement, campus involvement, study abroad, and internships taken for course credit. Assistant Director Recreational Services - Wellness	Iowa
The Assistant Director of Recreational Services – Wellness position is responsible for a comprehensive student wellness program. The program includes managing the group exercise and personal training program as well as wellness services. This position will also supervise and train group exercise instructors, personal trainers, wellness assistants and practicum students. In addition to the wellness program, this position coordinates all Recreational Services marketing. Specific responsibilities include: • Manage group exercise program • Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and complete payroll for wellness staff • Teach group exercise classes • Manage operating budget for wellness program • Manage student wellness program • Manage student wellness services • Purchase, maintenance and replacement of fitness equipment • Coordinate all Recreational Services marketing • Supervise Recreational Services Marketing student • Oversee the Recreation Facility Coordinator as the liaison with American Red Cross • Practicum preceptor for health sciences • Utilize Fusion software to manage access, appointments, and sales • Teach CPR and First Aid

Drake University Head Start is seeking energetic candidates to join our team of classroom staff and carry out the Head Start/Early Head Start Mission to “better prepare young children and their families for life experiences now and in the future.” This is a full time, 9-month (staff do not work and are not paid June and July), benefits eligible position supporting our lead teachers and children in daily classroom activities. We are hiring associates who are excited to join a team of dedicated and supportive staff who take pride in serving the families of the community. Prepared to travel to multiple sites across a 6-county service area with the benefit of mileage reimbursement and paid time for travel. Flexibility for adjusting to different classroom settings. The ideal candidate will enjoy participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood curriculum and practice. The role consists of light cooking, working directly with children, and occasional home visits for Head Start and Early Head Start Programs. This is a role that requires travel to more than one classroom site.
