Academic Advising Specialist (Arts + Sciences)	Iowa
Drake University is seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated academic advising professional who values equity and inclusion to serve as an academic advising specialist within the College of Arts and Sciences. Under the direct supervision of an assistant or associate dean within the respective academic college, the academic advising specialist will be a key contributor to the successful transition and matriculation of their assigned student caseloads from orientation to graduation. Work Schedule & Location/Remote Work/Hybrid Opportunities: This position is on-campus. Typical work schedule includes Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Some weekend and evening hours may be requested. Adjunct Instructor, Leadership	Iowa
The Drake University School of Education – Department of Leadership and Counseling invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor. This position will be responsible for teaching the Course: LEAD 199: Mindfulness & Leadership: Cultivating Awareness in Practice. The successful candidate will teach one section in the fall of 2026 to undergraduate students. This course explores how mindfulness practices can enhance leadership effectiveness, self-awareness, and resilience. Students will examine contemporary leadership theories through a mindfulness lens, experiment with practical techniques, and reflect on their impact on personal leadership style. The instructor is responsible for facilitating course activities and projects designed to meet the course objectives as well as grading all related coursework.
