| The Assistant Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Coach & Director of Operations is responsible for assisting the Head Coach and Associate Head Coach in all aspects of operating a successful NCAA Division I program. This position coordinates and manages the program's daily operations, including team travel, competition logistics, equipment, communications, and administrative functions, while assisting with coaching, recruiting, and the development of student-athletes, particularly in the distance and/or middle-distance event areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student-athlete development, competitive excellence, and compliance with all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference, and Drake University policies. Evening, weekend, and overnight travel is required. |

| The Clinic Managing Attorney and Director of Field Placements is a full-time professional staff position with limited teaching responsibilities that provides operational leadership for Drake Law School’s Legal Clinic and administrative leadership for the Law School’s field placement program. The position manages the daily operations of the Legal Clinic, including budgeting, grants management, trust account administration, compliance with legal and ethical requirements, personnel supervision, technology systems, client services infrastructure, and building operations. The position also supervises clinic administrative staff, develops operational policies and procedures, and serves as the primary operational liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, the position directs all aspects of the Law School’s field placement program, including teaching internship seminars, administering student placements, ensuring compliance with ABA Standards, maintaining internship databases and evaluation systems, developing new field placement opportunities, supporting community partners and supervising attorneys, conducting site visits, and overseeing assessment and continuous improvement of experiential education programs. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director of Legal Clinics and Experiential Learning, the position helps ensure the effective delivery of Drake Law School’s clinical and experiential education mission. |

The role is primarily responsible for reviewing and processing vendor invoices and employee reimbursement requests, verifying supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with Drake’s policies and procedures, and entering payment information into Banner for processing. The position also maintains vendor records by collecting and validating required compliance documentation, such as IRS Forms W-9 and W-8, and updating vendor information within the University's financial systems.
In addition, the position supports key accounting and financial operations, including preparing month-end journal feeds for departmental expense allocations, administering the University's commercial card program, reconciling assigned accounts, and preparing related journal entries and supporting documentation. |

| The Director of Student Account Services serves as a leader in Drake’s finance function and oversees the Student Account Services function. The Director of Student Account Services manages and develops a staff of 3. The Director of Student Account Services ensures fiscal integrity for Drake through the assessment, billing, and collection of all tuition and related educational fees, which is the majority of Drake’s revenues.
The Director of Student Account Services will have the opportunity to significantly influence the successful implementation of Workday’s Student systems with implementation beginning in early fall 2026. The Director of Student Account Services reports to the Assistant CFO/Controller. The Director of Student Account Services is expected to support the University Continuous Improvement Plan initiatives and live out the University Core Values. |
