| The Assistant Director of Advising/Dual Credit reports directly to the Associate Dean of Advising Services. The Assistant Director provides support and management to both Advising Services and the Dual Credit Office, serving as second in command in both areas. The Assistant Director supports lead in both areas to implement strategies to promote both retention and new student enrollment. The Assistant Director provides training to all new advisors/dual credit advisors and takes the lead in producing resources/materials for staff and external partners. |

Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps the program updated. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise. Provides follow-up services to assist in student placement, improved courses of instruction, and promote public relations. |
