| The work-study component of Ready to Work provides work opportunities on both on-campus and off-campus through work-study programs. Students in the programs gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP benefits. The placement of work-study students with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace by allowing them to gain work experience, job retention skills and earn extra income. |
