| The DGS Division of Purchases & Supply (DPS) is hiring for a Procurement Management Account Executive to provide technical consulting services, training, guidance, and recommendations to state agency procurement officers and senior agency leadership to improve procurement-related operations for non-technology, non-professional service procurements.
DPS facilitates and ensures that every public body in the Commonwealth is able to purchase the highest quality materials, equipment, supplies, printing, and non-professional services at a reasonable cost and ensures that all procurement procedures are made in conformity with the Code of Virginia. As part of the Policy, Consulting, & Review (PCR) team, the Procurement Management Account Executive will support DPS by conducting procurement management reviews, providing procurement consulting and assistance, and providing consulting and assistance with DGS's statewide electronic procurement system and program (eVA). They will reengineer business approaches between customers and vendors to best utilize eVA and other best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs, improve client service outcomes, and promote compliance with state procurement law. |
