Job Duties

Catawba Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide efficient secretarial support on an adult male inpatient psychiatric unit. Duties include timely, accurate record keeping; filing of medical records; and interaction with patients, patients families, visitors and hospital staff.
Daytime Hours: 7:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m., days will vary.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel & Outlook)
Previous Clerical Experience

Additional Considerations

College courses in secretarial science or business
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience as a hospital unit secretary
Medical secretarial training
