Job Duties

Delivers administrative and operational support to the Records Office, contributing to the overall mission of the unit and agency. Manages and updates digital and physical records, maintains databases, and ensures timely purging of inactive files. Prepares and organizes documentation, maintains accurate filing systems, handles email communications, and generates reports and correspondence. Provides responsive and professional support by managing incoming calls and inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a professional office setting. This includes maintaining and organizing records, using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to prepare documents and manage communications, and handling routine office operations such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries. Candidates should have experience interpreting and following written procedures or policies, managing multiple tasks under deadlines, and working independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with records management systems and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills must be demonstrated through prior work experience.

Additional Considerations

Prior experience working in a correctional facility, law enforcement agency, or other structured public safety environment. This includes familiarity with security protocols, handling confidential information, and supporting operations in settings that require adherence to strict policies and procedures. Experience using CORIS or comparable offender management systems.
