The Office of Information Technology (OIT) manages the administrative and academic information technology resources for Norfolk State University. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) empowers University students, faculty, and staff by providing quality information technology leadership, resources, services, and support. The office invites applicants for the position of Information Systems Security Analyst. The Office of Information Technology at Norfolk State University has an opening for Information Systems Security Analyst. This position will assist the Chief Information Security Officer in developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program. This includes defining security policies, processes, and standards. The security analyst works with the IT department to select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements and defines processes and standards to ensure that security configurations are maintained.

The Attorney for the Ethics Council will answer questions and provide written guidance and legal opinions to officials and employees who are covered by the Conflict(s) of Interests Acts, as well as registered Virginia lobbyists. Duties also include drafting Formal Advisory Opinions, conducting legal research, providing training on the Acts and lobbying laws to officials, employees and lobbyists, and drafting legislation as may be required by the Division. The Attorney will prepare speaking points and memoranda as requested by Council members or members of the General Assembly. The Attorney may be required to assist other attorneys in DLS with legal research.
