NSU Athletics Compliance Officer Norfolk, Virginia
Norfolk State University, an NCAA Division I institution, is seeking applicants for the position of Athletics Compliance Coordinator within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The position will report to the Associate Athletics Director for Administration and work closely with the Associate Athletic Director for Student Services and Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Under the direction of Athletics compliance leadership, the Athletics Compliance Coordinator provides support in the areas of NCAA rules education, initial and continuing eligibility, financial aid, recruiting, athletics personnel, playing and practice seasons, student-athlete amateurism, and institutional compliance monitoring. The incumbent will communicate regularly with coaches, student-athletes, Athletics staff, campus departments, and other university partners to help ensure compliance with Norfolk State University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. The position will also maintain accurate compliance records, assist with required reporting, and remain current on changes to NCAA legislation and institutional policies.
