| The Director of External Partnerships and Sponsorships with Norfolk State University works directly with the leadership and major gifts staff, the prospect management staff, the Assistant Vice President for Development, the Vice President for University Advancement, and other volunteers to increase annual revenue for major donor programs. This position will identify, cultivate, and solicit donor prospects to support campus activities. This position will work with individuals, corporations, and foundations in building relationships in support of Norfolk State University.
The Director of External Partnerships and Sponsorships manages their own portfolio and is responsible for activities related to cultivating, tracking, and soliciting all supporters of $25,000 or more. He/she will work closely with staff on prospect research and portfolio development. This position is responsible for assisting with team growth and performance to reach annual revenue goals for University Advancement. |
