| The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is seeking a Community Health Services (CHS) Regional Director to serve as an extension of the CHS Chief Deputy Commissioner in providing leadership, oversight, strategic direction, and support for programs and public health services delivered across Virginia's health districts. This executive leadership role helps ensure the effective operation of district and regional public health functions and advances VDH's mission to protect and promote the health of all Virginians. This position is a multi-hire for 3 CHS Regional Directors in 3 separate regions. The regions are Central, Eastern, and Southwest. Central region includes the following Health Districts: Chesterfield, Crater, Chickahominy, Henrico, Piedmont, and Richmond. Eastern region includes the following Health Districts: Chesapeake, Eastern Shore, Hampton, Norfolk, Peninsula, Portsmouth, Three Rivers, Virginia Beach, and Western Tidewater. Southwest District includes the following Health Districts: Roanoke, Central Virginia, Cumberland Plateau, Lenowisco, Mount Rogers, New River, Pittsylvania, West Piedmont, and Southside. |
