| The successful candidate will conduct professional land surveying services (location, construction, right of way, utility and condemnation surveys) for a wide range of transportation projects in support of VDOT construction and maintenance programs. In addition to managing a team of Survey Technicians, this Supervisor will ensure all survey work is in compliance with VDOT policies and procedures and APELSCIDLA rules and regulations, is responsible for signing and sealing survey work (responsible charge) under LS licensure, will secure data through the use of a wide range of field survey equipment and direct the work of a survey party conducting location, construction, right of way, aerial, GPS, hydrographic, utility and condemnation surveys. |

| NOVA VDOT Location and Design section is seeking a Sr. Project Management Engineer to oversee design and preparation of preliminary, right of way and final contract plans for a wide range of projects related to highways, structures, drainage and environmental issues including the larger projects managed by VDOT in L & D. Monitor and direct work activities and resources necessary to complete assigned projects. Will monitor the Dashboard status of the projects managed for On-Time and On-Budget delivery. Manage the District's Interstate and Primary design projects to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget. Work with District Urban Programs Office by providing project management services for VDOT and Locally Administered urban area projects. Maintain strong skills in new design technology and construction methodology and provide extraordinary customer service. |
