Identifies and recruits potential student athletes in accordance with NCAA regulations and academic standards, as well as University academic requirements. Assist in coordination and management of all aspects of on-court skill instruction and player development. Monitors student athletes’ progress and implement strategies to ensure academic and athletic success. Performs administrative duties such as travel, fundraising and camp/clinic coordination. Assists the Head Coach with game management duties Assist in the planning and implementation of game plans for each game, including development of scouting reports of opponents. Perform duties with professional conduct, being fiscally responsible and with a commitment to student-athlete well-being. Support and work cooperatively with Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, Compliance, Media Relations etc. Maintains sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds. Follow all rules and regulations as outlined by the Norfolk State University, the Department of Athletics, NCAA and conference office. All other duties assigned by the Head Coach
