Adjunct Faculty-Mechatronics Clinton
Roane State Community College is inviting applications for qualified candidates for an adjunct faculty position in our Mechatronics Program. The successful candidate will teach a combination of Mechatronics classes including introductory classes in electrical circuits, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), as well as advanced classes in statics/dynamics, robotics, PLCs, and automated production technologies. Classes are taught both in daytime and evening classes at our Clinton Facility and at the Harriman Campus. Some classes may be located at area high schools. The appointment is expected to begin in August 2024.
Campus Police Officer TCAT Covington Covington
The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. Northwest TCAT – Covington Campus is the home campus for this position. However, officers are occasionally required to perform duties and functions at other DSCC or TCAT campuses.
Part-Time: Academic Support for Students with Disabilities Memphis
This is a part-time position funded by Project MOST. This position is not for any currently enrolled Southwest Tennessee Community College students. The part-time advocate is integrated into the Center for Access to assist staff with supporting students with disabilities at Southwest. The advocate will assist with daily activities for the Center for Access Office. Duties include but are not limited to: notetaking, scribing, reading exams, and planning/assisting with LEAD organization activities. Advocate may assist in Center for Access new/renewal intake sessions. Maintain assigned caseload of Center for Access registrants. Must have dependable transportation to travel to all campuses/centers as needed. Advocates will work a maximum of 25 hours per week. The is an in-person role and any virtual hours will be left to the discretion of the department head.
Testing Center Technician II (Temporary Part-Time) Knoxville
Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is: The Testing Center is responsible for PSCC testing activities. These primarily include administration, proctoring, and proper security of testing materials. We also administer basic skills assessment tests, class testing for teachers including online courses, testing for off campus agencies, other colleges and universities, and the administration of exams such as Certiport, CLEP, DSST, HESI, Kryterion, and HiSET.
