This is a full-time, faculty term appointment within Emergency Medical Technology department. The individual shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-hospital care, capable of applying techniques and modalities of adult education, and of managing resources and resource personnel. The individual is also responsible for the delivery of didactic material, demonstration of the psychomotor skills, verification of skill proficiency, and continued faculty development to meet the needs of the institution. The advocate will assist with daily activities for the Center for Access Office. Duties include but are not limited to: notetaking, scribing, reading exams, and planning/assisting with LEAD organization activities. Advocate may assist in Center for Access new/renewal intake sessions. Maintain assigned caseload of Center for Access registrants. Must have dependable transportation to travel to all campuses/centers as needed. Advocates will work a maximum of 25 hours per week.
