Custodian (Macon Cove - Morning Shift) Memphis
This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. The standard shift time for this position is 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position primarily reports to the Macon Cove campus. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours.

Adult Education Adjunct Instructor for Corrections – Claiborne County & Hamblen County (Grant Funded) Jacksboro
The Adult Education Adjunct Instructor for Corrections is responsible for guiding and instructing individuals seeking to advance employability and basic education skills. This role provides academic instruction, career coaching, and workforce development support for adult learners with varying educational functioning levels. The successful candidate will regularly interact with students, provide instruction, and perform registration and intake-related services at Adult Education instructional sites, which include the American Job Centers, local businesses, housing authorities, rehabilitation facilities, and county jails.
Legislative Intern Nashville
Reporting directly to Director of Legislation and Advancement, this paid Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Government & Public Relations Department during its busiest time of the year – the annual session of the Tennessee General Assembly. Throughout the course of the internship, much time will be spent watching legislative committee meetings and floor sessions, tracking legislation, and assisting other TBR staff and dignitaries who may visit the Capitol from time to time (including the annual TBR “Day on the Hill”). Research and analysis of proposed legislation will be an important part of the Intern’s role and will be conducted on the Hill in Nashville, remotely, or at the TBR System Office. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, producing external communications pieces, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials and documents, and constituent case work and investigation. Given the pace and rigor of the legislative session, it is important to note that some days will be longer than others. The term of the internship will end two weeks after the adjournment of the annual legislative session.

The Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness serves as the senior officer responsible for leading, coordinating, and advancing the College’s strategic planning and institutional effectiveness initiatives. This role includes oversight of institutional research, college benchmarks, assessments, accreditation support, and special projects as assigned. The Executive Director ensures the integration of data-informed decision-making across all units, supports continuous improvement, and promotes accountability and transparency. This position reports directly to the President and serves as a key advisor on institutional performance and strategic direction.
