College Success Advisor and Retention Technology Specialist Columbia
The Advising, Student Success & Retention Technology Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for technology integration, data collection, and analysis within the advising department. The position supports student success and retention through data-informed strategies, effective use of advising technologies, and direct student engagement. The incumbent monitors all Charger Center computer labs, ensuring hardware and software functionality, and serves as liaison between the advising staff and the Information Technology (IT) department. The Specialist also maintains a student advising caseload, provides leadership and supervision for student workers, manages departmental communications, and leads the use and optimization of case management and student success software tools. This is an on-ground (in-person) position based at Columbia State Community College. Primary duties require consistent on-campus presence and regular interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
Instructor of Health Sciences Jackson
This is a 12-month faculty, term contract position.  This position will be responsible for teaching and coordinating courses within the Health Sciences AAS Degree Program, the Healthcare Technician, Patient Care Technician, and Medical Coding Certificate Programs. Other duties include coordinating student clinical placement requirements and record keeping, assisting with clinical affiliations, certification testing, equipment and supply management, and monitoring clinical contract compliance. This position will provide advisement to students and participate in college committees, program recruitment, and campus activities. Teaching assignments may include online, distance, evening, dual-enrollment, and off-campus classes.
Enrollment Coordinator Jackson
The Enrollment Coordinator reports directly to the dean of Healthcare Professions and provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across all healthcare programs. This position plays a vital role in assisting with the execution of program functions, student onboarding, clinical compliance, and coordination with internal departments and external partners. The role is focused on systems-based processes, regulatory documentation, and day-to-day program logistics to support faculty, students, and leadership.
