Academic/Student Support 5 -- Admissions/Reporting Dickson
The Academic/Student Support Associate 5 for Admissions and Reporting is responsible for a broad range of tasks in a fast-paced office setting. The Academic/Student Support Associate 5 is responsible for processing new student applications and all related enrollment processes. This position also prepares reports and surveys for federal and state agencies and assists other members of the TCAT Dickson Leadership team in preparing various reports by compiling and providing needed data. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. This position reports to the Student Services Coordinator. This is not a remote work position.
Adult Education Student Liaison Gallatin
This position provides a variety of staff support duties to sustain the effective operations of the Adult Education Program. The position also interacts with and provides instructional and registration/intake-related services for potential and current students and faculty on a daily basis.

Faculty - Emergency Medical Technology Memphis
This is a full-time, faculty term appointment within Emergency Medical Technology department. The individual shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-hospital care, capable of applying techniques and modalities of adult education, and of managing resources and resource personnel. The individual shall act as a liaison between faculty, students, the local medical community, and the Office of Emergency Medical Services. The individual is also responsible for the delivery of didactic material, demonstration of the psychomotor skills, verification of skill proficiency, and continued faculty development to meet the needs of the institution. The Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom/lab instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations.

Director - Advising and Career Services Memphis
This is a full-time, fiscal year permanent position reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services within the Division of Student Affairs. The Director of Advising and Career Services is responsible for the implementation of the Southwest integrated academic and career advising model and the scaling, oversight and operation of the resultant Southwest Career and Academic Community program. Supervising three Career and Academic Community Managers, an Assistant Director for Career Services, and Career Specialists, the Director is accountable for the efficacy of the college’s career and academic planning programs as well as retention and persistence benchmarks established by college administration. The Director will provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of a holistic case management model of advising and career services that begins with career exploration and major selection for prospective and incoming students, provides a single-point-of-contact to continuing students, and connects students to career experiences while at the college and beyond. The Director actively builds and maintains networks with campus partners, employers, and other community partners to develop opportunities for the college’s students. This position requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Additional hours may be required. Travel will be required between campus locations and for professional development.

The Instructor/Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction and related activities. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, program recruitment, serving on various college committees, and participating in professional activities and organizations. The professor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during designated times. The duties will be preformed at the Jackson campus, but will include travel to affiliate locations as needed. The professor will operate under the supervision of the Radiologic Technology Program Director and the Dean of Health Sciences and Nursing and in cooperation of other stakeholders. Other stakeholders include the RADT Program Advisory Committee, Jackson State Community College and all relevant accrediting bodies.

The Records Clerk provides customer service to prospective and continuing students at Southwest and assists the Registrar in maintaining, reporting and processing student records. Some travel between the two (2) main campuses and site locations is required. He/she may work evenings and weekends as needed.
