Information Processing Specialist Morristown
This Information Processing Specialist for Senators Central is cross trained to assist and advise students in areas of financial aid, admissions/enrollment services, cashiering services, student success and related student services areas. This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive suite of services to students and their families to support students through the enrollment life cycle. The Information Processing Specialist utilizes a variety of software systems and technical programs and has a deep understanding of financial aid and admissions rules, regulations, and institutional, state, and federal guidelines and policies.

The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative, clerical, and receptionist support for the Department of IDEAS. The Administrative Assistant manages the department’s daily office operations, including reception, communication, scheduling, document processing, and travel authorization. This position also serves as the human resources liaison for new and returning adjunct faculty, coordinating applications, credentialing documentation, and other required employment materials to ensure timely and accurate processing.

The incumbent reviews and analyzes information provided by students and assesses the accuracy of the information on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Reviews, verifies and inputs student information in the Central Processing System for posting in Banner, Walters State’s ERP system; conducts data entry of documents that are required for processing of student financial aid applications; reviews information for accuracy and completeness; and manages and maintains student financial aid records.

The Academic/Student Support Associate 5 – Dual Enrollment assists the K-12 Pathways Coordinator with various duties related to dual enrollment students. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with collecting, organizing, filing and checking dual enrollment paperwork and data; entering and verifying student data in an internet-based information management system; attending college and career fairs in the service area; scheduling and conducting tours; assisting with front desk coverage; updating forms and documents, and other duties as assigned. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is not a remote work position.
