Academic Advisor Memphis
This is a full-time, fiscal year permanent position within the Department of Advising and Counseling. The Academic Advisor will provide academic guidance and advisement to students on policies, procedures, and program requirements to fulfill a certificate or degree program and assists students in selecting educational and career goals. This position requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Additional hours may be required. Some travel may be required between campus locations.
Academic Navigator - Mathematics Jackson
The Academic Navigator (12-month position) supports students in college-level gateway math courses throughout the academic year (fall, spring, and summer), in all modalities by providing personalized assistance and facilitating active learning to help students reach their educational goals. The Academic Navigator works with students in a variety of tutoring settings, such as individual or group sessions or in virtual environments, to enhance students’ understanding of the material and help students develop study skills and strategies. The Navigator assists in creating a collaborative learning environment by working with faculty in the discipline area to determine concept and skill areas of highest need, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to both students and faculty to improve overall academic performance. The Navigator will also participate in student success initiatives related to academic readiness, placement, and preparation.
Part Time Faculty- Economics Franklin
Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Columbia State offers classes at five campuses: Columbia Campus, Williamson Campus, Lawrenceburg Campus, Lewisburg Campus, and Clifton Campus. Columbia State also offers classes at several off-campus locations and clinical sites. This position will be primarily located on the Williamson Campus with classes taught during the day.

This position is responsible for planning and maintaining network capacity, redundancy, and fault tolerance to support continuous operations and minimal service interruptions. The role performs advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and proactive system monitoring utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies. In addition, the Senior Network Engineer enforces enterprise network security by deploying and managing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and access controls, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
