Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is to provide problem-solving support, analysis, and security maintenance for administrative users using the Banner software Student module and any third-party software.
Essential Functions:
50% Monitor/maintain the Banner Student software module as well as other purchased applications software and locally written modules supporting the various college administrative processes such as student information, financial, HR, Payroll, the Foundation, and Financial Aid systems.
20% Analyze and resolve user problems with the administrative systems, associated databases, and applications
20% Design, create, and implement computer processes and associated documentation based on user requirements. Write or modify computer programs, reports, and user interfaces, test computer systems/programs, and train users in their use
10% Serve as liaison between user departments and TBR for TBR supplied programs and information exchange with other TBR institutions. Participate in training and professional meetings.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
- 2 years programming and analysis experience required.
Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience.
Skills/Abilities:
It is a highly analytical job with moderate creativity. It benefits from being able to approach a problem from a variety of angles. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of SQL as well as problem-solving skills.
