Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the HR Talent Acquisition Partner leads the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, source, and hire exceptional talent for the College. This position works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and deliver a positive, engaging candidate experience. By driving effective recruitment strategies and ensuring the selection of high quality candidates, the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a vital role in shaping the College’s workforce and supporting its long term success.
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting requisitions, managing targeted advertising, reviewing applications, screening candidates, preparing structured evaluation materials, communicating with applicants, generating recruitment reports, and drafting offer letters.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with OFCCP, FLSA, and institutional policies by maintaining accurate documentation, properly disposing of candidates, and keeping well‑organized records to support audit readiness.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, including identifying sourcing channels and refining job descriptions.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and equitable hiring processes.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS to manage requisitions, candidate workflows, and reporting; assist with system updates or testing as needed.
- Identify and represent the college at job and career fairs to promote employment opportunities, strengthen community relationships, and enhance employer brand visibility.
- Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience through clear, timely communication and responsive support throughout the hiring process.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing guidance and addressing questions or concerns during recruitment.
- Process requisitions and prepare offer letters for contract renewals.
- Assist with special HR projects, such as policy updates, employee engagement initiatives, or process audits.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities as needed to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate digital employee and HR records by scanning, indexing, and filing HR documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide backup support to HR team members to ensure coverage and continuity of operations.
- Assist employees with inquiries related to NeSCC and TBR hiring policies, procedures, and general HR information.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution, and one (1) year of relevant administrative support experience; or an Associate degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of relevant administrative support experience.
• Experience delivering responsive, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing confidential documents, electronic records, and information.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in human resources, payroll, benefits administration, or related field.
• Experience coordinating recruitment/hiring processes.
• Experience managing and maintaining a document management system.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and/or HRIS.
• Higher education administrative experience.
• Conversational ability or fluency in a second language.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Technology Skills: MS Office Suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
• Ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills with a keen attention to detail, including the ability to prepare and deliver professional reports and presentations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team on projects and deadlines.
• Efficiently and effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times.
• Ability to handle confidential matters and materials with discretion.
