This 864-clock hour program prepares students for high-demand careers in electric vehicle production, with a focus on advanced manufacturing processes and EV-specific systems. The instructor will guide students through rigorous, hands-on learning and classroom instruction designed to meet the entry-level needs of EV manufacturers and provide stackable, industry-recognized credentials such as the MSSC Certified Production Technician, IC3 Digital Literacy, FANUC Robot Operator, and Six Sigma White Belt. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging, competency-based instruction aligned with the Electric Vehicle Production Technology curriculum, including topics such as LEAN manufacturing, precision measurement, robotics, mechatronics, and production safety. • Prepare students for nationally recognized certifications and employment in electric vehicle production. • Monitor and evaluate student progress in both technical skills and essential worker characteristics (e.g., communication, teamwork, productivity). • Maintain instructional equipment, tools, and training materials in a safe and functional condition. • Participate in curriculum development and enhancement, program review, and industry advisory committees. • Establish and maintain partnerships with local employers to support student job placement and career pathways. • Maintain accurate records on student attendance, grades, and competencies. Minimum Qualifications: • Postsecondary credential in a related field. • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in electric vehicle manufacturing, automotive production, industrial automation, or a closely related field. • Strong understanding of EV systems, manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control practices. • Proficiency with tools and technologies used in modern EV production environments, including robotics and mechatronics. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Must be willing to complete the required training in instructional methods. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior teaching or training experience in technical education. • Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., MSSC CPT, IC3 Digital Literacy, FANUC Certified Robot Operator, Six Sigma White Belt). • Familiarity with the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) and NC3 credentialing systems. • Experience in curriculum development and student mentoring. Instructor of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education 12 Month (Term) Gallatin
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies. Faculty are expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in college, department and community activities related to the College’s mission. The EMS Education instructor works under the supervision of the Director of EMS Education. The instructor participates in the assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of program curriculum. The instructor conducts classroom, skills lab, and online instruction for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses. The instructor coordinates student advising and associated clinical site management for the Emergency Medical Services Education Program.
