| TCAT Knoxville seeks a student-focused Financial Aid Counselor with a bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ experience in financial aid, customer service, recruitment, marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of federal and state programs (Pell, TSAA, SEOG, TN Lottery Scholarship, TN Promise, TN Reconnect) is required. Strong oral and written communication, excellent customer service, and the ability to build effective relationships with students, faculty, employers, and the public are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, audio/visual equipment, and higher-education software, plus experience maintaining sensitive student records, is expected. Preferred: prior Financial Aid office experience and familiarity with Banner, SLATE, or similar systems. |
