Transfer Student Success Coordinator (Grant Funded Position)

| The Transfer Success Coach supports the execution of Pellissippi State’s strategic enrollment, retention, completion, and transfer priorities through the coordination and assessment of services for students entering the College with prior postsecondary experience and Pellissippi State students preparing to transfer to four-year institutions.
The position manages an assigned coaching caseload, provides proactive and individualized transfer support, coordinates transfer-focused onboarding and programming, and helps students establish clear academic, completion, and transfer plans. The coach assists students in understanding how evaluated credit, degree requirements, transfer pathways, institutional deadlines, and receiving-institution expectations affect their progress. The position connects students with appropriate College resources and ensures that matters requiring official academic, credit, admission, or financial-aid decisions are referred to the responsible office.
The Transfer Success Coach also plans and assesses transfer events and outreach campaigns, coordinates services with campus and university partners, maintains accurate student and program records, and prepares regular reports on coaching engagement, program participation, persistence, credit accumulation, credential completion, and transfer outcomes. The position serves as a primary liaison among students, College offices, and partner institutions and supports broader Student Achievement initiatives as assigned |

Part-Time: Academic Support for Students with Disabilities

| This is a part-time position funded by Project MOST.
This position is not for any currently enrolled Southwest Tennessee Community College students.
The part-time advocate is integrated into the Center for Access to assist staff with supporting students with disabilities at Southwest.
The advocate will assist with daily activities for the Center for Access Office. Duties include but are not limited to: notetaking, scribing, reading exams, and planning/assisting with LEAD organization activities. Advocate may assist in Center for Access new/renewal intake sessions. Maintain assigned caseload of Center for Access registrants. Must have dependable transportation to travel to all campuses/centers as needed. Advocates will work a maximum of 25 hours per week. The is an in-person role and any virtual hours will be left to the discretion of the department head. |

| The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Athens is accepting applications for a part-time instructor in its evening Cosmetology program at the TCAT Athens Campus. The successful candidate will inspire and educate students in a dynamic learning environment, preparing them for future careers in the beauty industry. This position works 5 hours per day and 20 hours per week Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The Cosmetology evening instructor is responsible to the Vice President. |
