The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Athens is accepting applications for the full-time position of Student Service Support Associate. This position reports to the Vice President and supports the Polk County campus. This dynamic role combines essential receptionist responsibilities with data entry tasks along with providing holistic student services support to the Polk County Campus students. The successful candidate will work 7.5 hours per day, totaling 37.5 hours per week, contributing to our mission of fostering a positive and professional learning environment.
Temporary Help (TTC) Athens
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Athens is accepting applications for the part-time position of Facilities Support Associate – Custodian. Under the general supervision of the Vice President, this position performs the daily cleaning of common areas per the institution’s cleaning and maintenance policy. This 20-hour per week position is responsible for the custodial duties at the Athens campus which supports our mission of fostering a positive and professional learning environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Daily cleaning of the Athens campus common areas including bottle filling stations, windows, floors, restrooms, administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, and outside walks and door mats. • Duties include emptying waste cans, picking up litter in the yard and parking lot, and replenishing hand towels, toilet tissues, and soap in restrooms. • Perform safety and security checks. • Perform opening and closing of facilities, as needed. • Support student success. • Check motorized equipment before using and contact Facilities Support Associate Lead for needed maintenance and repair

Program Director, Emergency Medical Services Columbia
A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods), in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Faculty also provide academic advising and facilitate student success. Technology tools are routinely used to communicate with and support students. Faculty accepting the appointment of program directors have certain administrative responsibilities in addition to their faculty responsibilities.
Part-Time: Academic Support for Students with Disabilities Memphis
This is a part-time position funded by Project MOST. This position is not for any currently enrolled Southwest Tennessee Community College students. The part-time advocate is integrated into the Center for Access to assist staff with supporting students with disabilities at Southwest. The advocate will assist with daily activities for the Center for Access Office. Duties include but are not limited to: notetaking, scribing, reading exams, and planning/assisting with LEAD organization activities. Advocate may assist in Center for Access new/renewal intake sessions. Maintain assigned caseload of Center for Access registrants. Must have dependable transportation to travel to all campuses/centers as needed. Advocates will work a maximum of 25 hours per week. The is an in-person role and any virtual hours will be left to the discretion of the department head.
