Assistant Director, Pellissippi Academic Center for Excellence (PACE) Knoxville
The overall purpose of the Assistant Director, PACE is to support faculty in improving teaching and learning across various delivery modes. The assistant director works in collaboration with Distance Education staff, HIPs Liaison, and HIPs champions/faculty to develop and deliver relevant online and HIPs training. They also work directly with faculty or staff who wish to facilitate PACE trainings, ensuring learning outcomes, content, and engagement. Overall, the Assistant Director aims to integrate instructional design principles and technology to support faculty, staff, and improved student learning.

Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students and assisting students as they learn and master course learning outcomes.
Next Steps Advisor Jackson
The Next Steps Advisor is a staff position designed to provide holistic advising and support services targeting adult learners to ensure student retention and success. Additionally, students are assisted with navigating next steps after their certificate or degree completion at Jackson State Community College should they wish to transfer to a four-year institution. The Next Steps Advisor will report to the Director of Advising and collaborate with other advisors, administrative staff, and faculty to oversee the college’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of students.
Custodian (Union Ave - Evening Shift) Memphis
This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position reports to the Union Ave campus with the working hours of Mon-Fri: 2:00 pm-10:30 pm
Campus Police Officer TCAT McKenzie McKenzie
The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. McKenzie TCAT Campus is the home campus for this position. However, officers are occasionally required to perform duties and functions at other DSCC or TCAT campuses.
