Adjunct Faculty - Economics Harriman
The Economics Instructor is responsible for teaching economics courses in both face-to-face and online formats using the D2L Brightspace learning management system. This position requires effective course delivery, student engagement, and the use of best practices in online instruction, including audio and video learning tools within the LMS. Candidates must possess a master’s degree in economics or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Economics. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, maintain timely interactions with students, and support student success through high-quality instruction. Tennessee residency, relevant online teaching experience, and proficiency with D2L Brightspace are required. Classes will be at various Roane State Community College locations.

The Business Instructor is responsible for teaching a variety of business courses in both face-to-face and online formats using the D2L Brightspace learning management system. The position requires effective instruction, student engagement, and timely communication while maintaining accurate academic records. Candidates must possess a master’s degree in a qualifying business-related field or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a qualifying discipline. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching online and proficiency with D2L Brightspace. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills while supporting student success in business education. Classes will be at various Roane State Community College locations.
Faculty - Emergency Medical Technology Memphis
This is a full-time, faculty term appointment within Emergency Medical Technology department. The individual shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-hospital care, capable of applying techniques and modalities of adult education, and of managing resources and resource personnel. The individual shall act as a liaison between faculty, students, the local medical community, and the Office of Emergency Medical Services. The individual is also responsible for the delivery of didactic material, demonstration of the psychomotor skills, verification of skill proficiency, and continued faculty development to meet the needs of the institution. The Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom/lab instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations.
Transcript Analyst Jackson
This is a full-time position working under the direct supervision of the Admissions and Records Manager. The Transcript Analyst is responsible for evaluating incoming college transcripts and maintaining accurate student records in a confidential manner. May be required to work some evening and weekends as needed.
