| The overall purpose of this job is to assist in setting up and maintaining Health Science labs, primarily Surgical Technology, Radiologic Technology, and Nursing as needed site campuses with the required supplies, materials, and equipment for the faculty. This includes repackaging supplies, assisting to set up the Operating Room, coordinating equipment with the coordinators and in hospital lab spaces, and cleaning equipment. This position is also responsible for handling and coordinating delicate and expensive equipment at the site campuses and affiliated hospitals. |

| This is a full-time, academic-year (9-month) faculty appointment within the Communications, Graphic and Fine Arts department. The instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation (develop curricula and instructional material; prepare course syllabi), presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The Assistant Professor is also responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned.
At a minimum, the related activities include instruction; instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. |
