Faculty - Emergency Medical Technology

| This is a full-time, faculty term appointment within Emergency Medical Technology department. The individual shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-hospital care, capable of applying techniques and modalities of adult education, and of managing resources and resource personnel. The individual shall act as a liaison between faculty, students, the local medical community, and the Office of Emergency Medical Services.
The individual is also responsible for the delivery of didactic material, demonstration of the psychomotor skills, verification of skill proficiency, and continued faculty development to meet the needs of the institution. The Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom/lab instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned.
At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. |

| Roane State Community College is inviting applications for qualified candidates for an adjunct faculty position in our Mechatronics Program. The successful candidate will teach a combination of Mechatronics classes including introductory classes in electrical circuits, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), as well as advanced classes in statics/dynamics, robotics, PLCs, and automated production technologies. Classes are taught both in daytime and evening classes at our Clinton Facility and at the Harriman Campus. Some classes may be located at area high schools.
