This is a full-time, grant-funded position working under direct supervision of the Police Supervisor (Captain) and general supervision of the Associate Director of Public Safety. This position is designated to work at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology locations within Memphis. The Police Officer 1 investigates crimes and accidents, protecting faculty, staff, students, visitors, and property, facilities by law enforcement. He/she responds to calls for assistance including emergency crisis situations and provides other safety related services. He/she must be flexible to work different shifts if and when deemed necessary.

The Custodian (3rd Shift) maintains the cleanliness of the office buildings and classrooms of the college. They are expected to know cleaning methods and procedures as well as the material and equipment used in custodial work.
Part-Time: Laboratory Technician (Natural Sciences) Memphis
This is a part-time temporary, fiscal year laboratory technician position under general supervision of the Department Head of Natural Sciences. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for operating, repairing, and maintaining complex electronic laboratory equipment and performing related work as required. He/she may work one day a week, away from his/her regular office at the Union Avenue Campus.
Part-Time: Academic Support for Students with Disabilities Memphis
This is a part-time position funded by Project MOST. This position is not for any currently enrolled Southwest Tennessee Community College students. The part-time advocate is integrated into the Center for Access to assist staff with supporting students with disabilities at Southwest. The advocate will assist with daily activities for the Center for Access Office. Duties include but are not limited to: notetaking, scribing, reading exams, and planning/assisting with LEAD organization activities. Advocate may assist in Center for Access new/renewal intake sessions. Maintain assigned caseload of Center for Access registrants. Must have dependable transportation to travel to all campuses/centers as needed. Advocates will work a maximum of 25 hours per week. The is an in-person role and any virtual hours will be left to the discretion of the department head.
