Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, or Physics labs at Jackson State Community College (JSCC). JSCC offers classes at four locations with the main campus located in Jackson, TN. Additional centers include the Lexington-Henderson County Center in Lexington, TN, the Savannah-Hardin County Center in Savannah, TN, and the Gibson County Center in Trenton, TN. Adjunct faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and are expected to provide effective instruction in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus in all modalities of course offerings.
Faculty - Technologies (Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering) Memphis
This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty appointment reporting to the department chair of Engineering Technologies. This faculty position will support the Electrical Engineering Technology and Computer Engineering Technology programs. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities (developing and preparing curricula and instructional material; delivering lectures; initiating, facilitating and moderating class discussions to students on topics in electrical engineering technology and computer engineering technology). The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising/mentoring, serving on various committees, participating in professional activities and organizations.

This position reports to the Health Sciences Education Coordinator. Hours will be as follows: Mondays: 3:00 pm – 9:30 pm; Tuesdays – Thursdays: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
