Marketing and Customized Training Coordinator

| The Coordinator supports the Workforce and Continuing Education unit by assisting with the planning, coordination, delivery, and administration of customized training and employer focused workforce development initiatives. The position ensures high quality customer service and contributes to the delivery of high quality, customized training solutions that meet employer needs.
The Coordinator also plays a key role in implementing the unit’s marketing plan for workforce programs, including contract training, open enrollment courses, and special classes and events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining and updating the website, managing information within the student information system, performing CRM related functions, and supporting other marketing and communication activities as needed.

Faculty - Culinary Arts - Dual Enrollment (Tenure-Track)

| This is a full-time, tenure-track, 9-month term faculty appointment reporting to the Department Chair. The instructor/assistant professor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities for Culinary Arts courses within the Hospitality Management program. The instructor/assistant professor is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations.
This position will primarily be responsible for instruction for dual-enrollment culinary arts courses offered at various high schools across Shelby County. As such, the position will require daily travel across Shelby County to each high school location. An instructor/assistant professor performs all other duties as directed by the Department Chair, Dean of Business and Technologies, or the President or designee. |

Assistant Professor of English, 9 Month (Term)

| This is a 9-month, term contract position. The Assistant Professor will perform day-to-day operations of the instructional programs in Department of Languages and Literature in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Faculty member will also provide advisement to students, participate in college committees and campus activities, and develop coursework as needed. The standard teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. The teaching assignment may include online; hybrid; and/or distance classes, evening classes, dual-enrollment, and off-campus locations. The instructor is responsible for the success of the teaching/learning process within the classroom. |
