The Associate Director, Community and Local Government Relations is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in developing the strategic direction of community and local government relations in the Prince William/Manassas region; developing sustainable strategic partnerships and relationships with local government leaders and agencies, individuals, and business and community organizations; developing and/or participating in outreach programs/initiatives and regional economic development activities as appropriate; and sharing the university's strategic plan, initiatives, and many services and resources with the external community. With an in-depth understanding of the SciTech Campus, this position represents the university as a whole to the primary communities of Prince William County, City of Manassas, and City of Manassas Park.

The Office of University Branding is responsible for telling the George Mason story. The department builds awareness and support for the university, develops the brand, protects the reputation of the university, and shares important and timely information with the George Mason community and its external partners. The Graphic Designer, working with the Senior Graphic Designer, Associate Creative Director, and other George Mason University team members, will create marketing and communication materials that engage the university’s target audiences and inform them about George Mason University. The designer will uphold and develop the George Mason brand in print and digital forms. It is ideal that the position holder loves everything about design and thrives in a creative environment. The designer will bring curiosity and will be engaged in the design world.

The Director of Advancement Events serves as a senior strategic leader within University Advancement, responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and quality standards for George Mason University's comprehensive portfolio of advancement events. This position provides executive-level oversight of all donor events, leading through strategic planning, innovation, and data-driven decision making to advance the university's philanthropic goals. The Director leads a team, including an Event Manager, who handles day-to-day execution, allowing the Director to focus on high-level strategy, stakeholder relationships, and ensuring each event serves as a transformative experience that deepens donor engagement and inspires increased philanthropic investment. Working collaboratively with Advancement leadership, academic and non-academic units, and the President's Office, this role shapes how Mason recognizes, cultivates, and celebrates its philanthropic community while positioning the university as a leader in donor engagement experiences.
