Writing Center Tutor Arnold/Main Campus
The AACC Writing Center is looking for tutors to staff our in-person, Zoom on Demand (online drop in), and Virtual Writing Center (Zoom by appointment) services. Modalities are in-person at the Arnold campus (daytime) and online synchronous (Zoom) during daytime, evening, or weekend hours. Tutors assist students in all disciplines and members of the community at any stage of the writing process with organization, structure, conformity with assignment, grammar/mechanics, ethical source use, and documentation (MLA or APA).
Receptionist, Career Center- Linthicum Off Campus
The receptionist will provide oversight, monitoring of facilities and support services for Anne Arundel Community College faculty and students attending classes, meetings and/or related activities.
Veterinary Assistant Instructor Arnold/Main Campus
The Veterinary Assistant instructor will teach the skills needed to become a veterinary assistant. Classes consist of both lecture and in-person labs including supervising and assisting students in the act of Vet Assisting. Ability to provide instruction to students by developing, selecting, evaluating and modifying instructional plans and materials and presenting them using instructional techniques which meet the needs of all students. Ability to supervise classroom and lab. Evaluate student performance in classroom and lab. Experience teaching in online and face2face formats
Manager, Hybrid Cloud Engineering Arnold/Main Campus
As a Hybrid Cloud Engineering (HCE) Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Cloud-Based and on premises systems and applications. In this role, you will lead and work closely with the development, operations, and security teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. It is expected as the Manager for Hybrid Cloud Engineering that you will make recommendations for enhancements, upgrades, and new products to meet the dynamic needs of the college while also supporting these technologies in a hands on manner with the HCE team as needed.
Part-Time Faculty- Geography Arnold/Main Campus
The School of Liberal Arts is looking for part-time faculty who are able to teach Introduction to Geography, Physical Geography, and/or World Regional Geography.
