The SASP Student Success and Retention Advisor provides direct academic, career, personal guidance, and advocacy to support academic success, transfer, and graduation of program participants. The position facilitates the development of educational, career, and transfer plan from a variety of sources, course selection, interpretation of academic rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Regularly monitors and documents academic progress, completes follow-up contacts face-to-face, in groups, through social media and online community activities. Provides advocacy, makes intervention and referrals for other student support, campus services, and community resources. |
Part-time Paramedic Instructor

We're looking for instructors that are enthusiastic and engaging with students, and willing to be a team player with other full time and part time faculty and staff members. The Paramedic Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to paramedic students, preparing them for state and national certification exams and field practice. The instructor develops, implements and grades within the paramedic curriculum, conducts classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs, and mentors during clinical rotations. This role requires collaboration with full-time instructors, Director of EMS, medical directors, clinical sites, and EMS agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive and current paramedic education. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own certifications and continuing education to stay updated with advancements in emergency medical services. |

Diesel Technology Instructor

Part time evening instructor position. Instructor is responsible for classroom and lab instruction in Diesel Technology trade. The instructor will follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). Instructors must have some computer experience, expertise in the trade and the ability to effectively manage a classroom. Prior teaching experience is not required. A desire to share your knowledge of the industry with future skilled trades workers is a must! The Head Women's Basketball Coach is responsible for leading all aspects of developing and managing a competitive Division II program within the parameters set by the College, Region 20, and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). This is a part-time, contractual position with in person presence required during the season, October 1 - March 31. The engagement and operations technician assists in recruitment, enrollment, retention, and operations support for the grant-funded GenCyber program. Responsibilities include facilitating program and course enrollment activities, engaging with Middle School students and their parents in the application process, and assisting with student retention and pre- and post-camp activities. The day camp takes place at the end of June, and the person in this position will assist with camp preparation and operations. |

The Instructional Support Center Assistant is responsible for the audit and enforcement of best practices and compliance standards related to section creation, modification and cancellation for courses and programs offered by departments in the School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD). This includes ensuring section information and setup complies with MHEC standards for hours and FTE collection whenever a section is proposed or modified by a department staff member. This position also works with department staff and the CEWD Business Services team to manage instructor assignments and grade postings. The Assistant works with students, faculty, vendors, staff, and senior administrators.
