Campus Safety Manager Michigan
The Manager, Campus Safety provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for the Campus Safety department. This position reports to the VP & CHRO or designee and is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating safety and emergency preparedness activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting institutional response to campus incidents and emergencies. The Manager is expected to respond to operational, emergency, and safety incidents as needed, including after-hours situations and shift coverage when required.
Mental Health Clinician Michigan
Under general supervision of, and directly accountable to the Manager of Counseling Services: this position will focus on empowering Lake Superior State University students through short-term mental health counseling, psychoeducational outreach, and serve as a liaison between campus health partners, directly contributing to student success and navigating barriers. A critical aspect of this position is championing the well-being of students from underrepresented and under-resourced communities. This role will offer mental health consultation to Lake Superior State University faculty, staff, and students on behavioral health challenges, fostering a positive campus environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide short-term mental health counseling, including individual and group counseling. Ability to support university students in a culturally competent capacity to create a positive therapeutic environment and rapport. Coordinate care and referrals for students needing longer-term or specialized services. Support crisis intervention and effectively use crisis intervention techniques. Offer mental health consultation to university faculty, staff, and students as needed. Design and deliver in-person wellness training and wellness-focused events in collaboration with Student Life and diverse campus departments for students, advisors, and faculty. Develop psychoeducational resources and materials addressing common student mental health and wellness topics. Establish collaborative relationships with campus community members and promote a positive campus culture and wellness environment. Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with departmental policy, state law, and current professional ethics and standards of practice. Participate in departmental staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Provide quarterly and annual departmental reports summarizing mental health activities and services.
Grant Accountant Michigan
The Grant Accountant is responsible for the financial management, compliance, and reporting of externally funded grants and contracts. This position ensures that all grant activity is recorded accurately in the financial system, complies with federal, state, and sponsor regulations, and aligns with institutional policies. The Grant Accountant serves as a key liaison between Finance, Principal Investigators (PIs), and external sponsors.
