Residence Life Coordinator	Michigan
Reporting to the Senior Director of Student Affairs, the Residence Life Coordinator supports the student experience for students living on campus at Lake Superior State University. This entry-level position focuses on building residential community, supporting student development, supervising Resident Assistants, coordinating residence hall programming, and helping create safe, welcoming, and engaged living environments. The Residence Life Coordinator serves as a visible and approachable professional staff member in the residence halls. The position works directly with students, Resident Assistants, campus partners, and Student Affairs staff to strengthen belonging, personal responsibility, academic success, and connection to the LSSU community. This role is designed for a developing student affairs professional who can build relationships with students, lead student staff, manage multiple priorities, respond to student concerns, and support the day-to-day needs of residential communities. The position requires strong communication, sound judgment, organization, follow-through, and a student-centered approach.
Assistant Director of Athletic Communications	Michigan
Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director – Director of Athletic Communications, the Assistant Director will assist in athletic webpage content creation and maintenance, multi-sport media coverage, manage statistics, and support in all game day operations as assigned with emphasis on men’s D1 hockey. Additional responsibilities include supervising student staff, assist in managing live-streaming operations, and collaborating with marketing, development, and university communications teams to support strategic initiatives and elevate the profile of LSSU and LSSU Athletics.
Assistant Coach - Women's Basketball	Michigan
Under direct supervision of the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics, to assist with coaching of the Women's Basketball team and all facets of the Women's Basketball program.
Nursing Skills Lab Supervisor	Michigan
Under the supervision of the Nurse Administrator, the Nursing Skills Lab Supervisor supports the operation, organization, and development of the Nursing Skills Lab while assisting with simulation learning activities and environments. Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, inventory, and coordination of nursing lab and simulation equipment, supplies, and learning resources. The position supports faculty and student learning through skills lab preparation, simulation support, technology assistance, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Coordinates daily operations of the Nursing Skills Lab and assists with simulation activities and instructional spaces. Prepares, sets up, tests, and breaks down nursing skills labs and simulation experiences. Operates and assists with simulation technology, audiovisual systems, task trainers, and simulation manikins. Collaborates with faculty to support skills instruction, simulation scenarios, and student learning. Maintains and organizes equipment, supplies, records, and maintenance schedules while ensuring learning spaces remain safe, functional, and compliant with safety and infection control standards. Provides orientation and support for faculty, staff, student employees, and learners using lab and simulation resources. Assists with scheduling, accreditation support, implementation of new technologies, and coordination with community and clinical partners. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Simulation Operations Specialist	Michigan
The School of Nursing invites applications for a Simulation Operations Specialist to lead and advance the LSSU Superior Simulation Center. Reporting to the School of Nursing Director, the Simulation Operations Specialist provides operational leadership and oversight for simulation-based learning across academic programs, and community partners. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day simulation operations that advance excellence in clinical education and adhere to nationally recognized best practices as defined by INACSL, SSH and others. This position requires a leader who can drive operational excellence and translate strategy into effective and efficient operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ● Proficiency with current healthcare clinical procedures, primarily in nursing or EMED, and related technology. ● Ability to supervise student workers and simulation technicians. ● Supports financial planning efforts and ensures effective management of approved budget allocations. ● Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules. ● Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of faculty, staff, students, and external partners. ● Knowledge of technologies used for simulation including: electrical/technical AV, virtual reality, manikins, and other technologies used for simulation activities. ● Knowledge of current simulation standards for best practice as defined by nationally recognized organizations such as INACSL, SSiH and others. ● Proficient with standard office computer software. ● Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and produce reports. ● Ability to work flexible hours, including potential for some weekend days. ● Ability to travel.
