| Elon University, an independent university renowned as a national model for engaged learning, is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing Simulation to lead the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of simulation-based clinical education in the Department of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The nursing program is part of the Elon University School of Health Sciences, which also includes the Doctor of Physical Therapy, the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. | The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the administration of injury/illness prevention, recognition, evaluation, management, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes participating in the intercollegiate athletics program. In this role, they will enforce health care policies and procedures regarding medical insurance, complete physical examinations, and engage in related activities for student-athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer follows risk management processes and communicates with parents, coaches, health care professionals, administrators, faculty, staff, and student-athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer provides health care services specifically to designated sports and in general to all student athletes. This position will specifically work with the women's lacrosse program. |
