Principal Faculty Member Department of Physician Assistant Studies Elon Elon University Campus
Elon University, renowned as a model for engaged learning, is seeking full-time Principal Faculty positions for its Physician Assistant Program located in Elon, NC to develop and implement curricular aspects of a fully accredited program in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies. The program plans to expand its cohort size, with the new class scheduled to matriculate in January 2026. The anticipated start date for the position is Summer 2025.
Assistant Professor of Finance Elon University Campus
This is a tenure-track position. Use knowledge of and work experience with teaching Finance-related undergraduate or graduate courses to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Finance, Financial Technology, and Elon's Core Curriculum. Work with finance faculty to continuously improve the curriculum of the finance major. Conduct academic research in finance. Mentor students in their degree progress, course plan, and academic research. Participate in the services and activities at department, business school, and university levels to support the life and progress of the university including undergraduate research, studying abroad, serving on university and school committees, and advising student organizations. Create a constant stream of scholarly publications and contribute to the life of the university through service.
Assistant Director of Learning Design and Support Elon University Campus
Lead the Learning Design and Support Team. Supervise a team of approximately 6 direct reports (full-time staff who are instructional technologists, designer/developer, video producer) and indirectly oversee 15 student staff. Provide leadership and guidance in the daily operations, mission, and vision of the team. Promote a culture of continual growth and professional development. Help staff achieve their career goals, including assigning work which leverages their skills and capabilities and provides them with opportunities for learning. Evaluate staff performance. Facilitate strong communication and information sharing. Lead staff in the understanding of university, division, and departmental priorities and objectives. Empower the team and pave the way for successful work by developing strategic partnerships, addressing challenges, and reducing barriers. Manage a budget, effectively use existing resources, and advocate for additional resources to ensure delivery and advancement of services. Establish sustainable IT support models for new service offerings. Develop and maintain a sense of confidence and trust in technology support internal to the department and external throughout the university community. Advance instructional technologies, productivity tools, and creative elements by providing leadership to the staff, building cross-campus partnerships, and overseeing efforts focused on the use of instructional technology, productivity tools, and creative elements across a broad range of academic and administrative programs and initiatives that align with university mission, strategic priorities, and initiatives. Staff development efforts with a focus on the effective use of technology (in partnership with the Office of Leadership and Professional Development). Facilitate TLT cross-team collaboration and project management. Serve as an active team member of the TLT Leadership Team and the IT Leadership Team. Collaborate with other TLT Leaders and staff to ensure strong communication, transparency, information sharing, effective teamwork and synergy between staff, and the successful utilization of skill sets across the department to serve our mission and vision. Facilitate TLT staff meetings, rotating responsibilities with other leaders. Key partnerships include the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, academic department chairs, the Registrar’s Office, the Office of Professional and Continuing Studies, Human Resources, the Office of Leadership and Professional Development, the Student Professional Development Center, and University Communications. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration (within IT and throughout the university) to implement technology solutions to serve the mission and support university initiatives. Build and sustain vendor relationships, including with the LMS provider, LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft, contract services’ providers, and others.

Director of Development – Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences Elon University Campus
The Director of Development for Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences is responsible for leading and managing development activities within the Elon College. The director manages a portfolio of university constituents – alumni, parents, and friends – who have connections to Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences, helping to increase engagement and philanthropy, particularly at the leadership annual giving level. This position works closely with the Dean of Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences and University Advancement leadership to ensure appropriate coordination efforts within the College and across the University.

The Office of Leadership & Professional Development (OLPD) supports Elon University's mission by fostering a culture of learning and professional development and facilitating a variety of growth opportunities while nurturing an inclusive and holistic approach to individual learning and institutional development. OLPD supports a wide range of programs and groups including, individual and group (department or division) programming, the grant in aid program to support individual professional development, Lunch and Learns, coaching programs, Employee Resource Groups, the Enhanced Supervision Program. The Director serves as the primary and lead administrator and represents the OLPD across campus.
Senior Director of Development Research Elon University Campus
The Senior Director of Development Research is responsible for implementing and managing donor/prospect research and prospect management and tracking efforts at the university, using their advanced querying, analytical, and critical thinking skills to collect and repackage data to inform philanthropic strategy for fundraisers, senior staff, and the University President. This work includes identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and profiling corporations, foundations, and individuals. The Senior Director ensures that the university has an organized system to manage the philanthropic/biographical data, fundraising assignments, and gift strategies on past, current, and prospective donors, with a focus on major/principal gifts.
Clinical Education Specialist Elon University Campus

Assistant Professor of Engineering Elon University Campus
Elon University invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Engineering beginning in mid-August 2025. The successful candidate will support the existing BS in Engineering with mechanical, biomedical, environmental, and computing concentrations. This position has an emphasis on creating an engaging first-year student experience including teaching and coordinating the first-year course sequence, mentoring Engineering Fellows, and building an inclusive and welcoming student environment. Potential for excellence in teaching lower-level undergraduate engineering courses is essential, as is integrating undergraduate students into a research agenda, advising and mentoring students, and contributing to the growth of the engineering program. Responsibilities include teaching a range of engineering courses as well as non-major courses for Elon’s Core Curriculum. Both an undergraduate degree in engineering and a PhD in engineering or related discipline are required.
