New Mexico State University Alamogordo is seeking an Instructor to Assistant Professor of Mathematics, full-time, 9-month, tenure track. Provide 30-credit hours per academic year (15-cr per fall and spring semesters) of classroom instruction in the following Math subjects: College Algebra; Statistics; Calculus for Biological & Management Sciences; Trigonometry; Calculus (all levels), and other Math courses that may be revised or developed. Will develop online courses based on Quality Matters Standards and develop teaching materials, such as PowerPoint lectures and labs, as needed. In addition to normal class hours, may teach weekends, evenings, virtual, online classes, and off-campus as assigned. Advise students as needed; Participate in professional development activities, various committee assignments, local community service, and conduct on-going assessment of courses. Perform other related duties as assigned. |
