Do you enjoy working with students? Would you like to feel the personal satisfaction of helping a student from orientation through graduation? The NMSU Center for Academic Advising and Student Support (CAASS) is looking for new people to join our team. Academic advising across the NMSU system is a shared partnership between a student and an adviser that teaches the student how to define, plan and achieve their educational, career and individual goals within a respectful, caring and inclusive environment. Academic advising empowers our diverse student population to become active and effective agents of their own learning by proactively connecting with students at key points during their college journey. CAASS offers advisors great opportunities for professional development, including the opportunity to attend regional and national conferences, and participate in various committees. |
