| Under the direction of the Building Principal and Director of Exceptional Education, the Licensed Autism Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Supervise students in a variety of school related settings. Evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives. Follows State mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students. Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities. Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff and community. |
