Nursing Faculty, Tenure Track- Adult Health/Community Harrisonburg
James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a Tenure Track, 10-month full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor that will begin on December 25, 2024. The School of Nursing (SON) offers CCNE accredited Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice programs. Teaching responsibilities will focus on undergraduate nursing program needs. Three years of recent practice or teaching experience in adult health and/or community nursing is required. Experience teaching in higher education is preferred. Additional professional or teaching experience related to the core competencies for nursing education is desired. Administrative Assistant – College of Health and Behavioral Studies Dean’s Office Harrisonburg
The Administrative Assistant will serve as the initial point of contact for the Dean's Office Suite. The Administrative Assistant works as a member of the team within the Dean's Office demonstrating those characteristics of an effective team member. The Administrative Assistant provides primary support for four Associate Deans and backup support to the Dean. The Administrative Assistant handles various forms and documents to support college processes.

The Department of Finance and Business Law in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance position to begin Fall 2025. About the Department: The Finance and Business Law Department is staffed by 17 full-time faculty with 14 faculty in finance and 3 faculty in Business Law. The department serves both Finance and Quantitative Finance majors and college business law courses. FIN & BLAW faculty have received numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding teaching, service, and research. JMU subscribes to both the Standard & Poor’s Compustat, the University of Chicago’s Center for Research in Securities Prices (CRSP), MSCI ESG KLD and NYSE TAQ databases through WRDS, and students and faculty have access to Bloomberg through the Gaglioti Capital Markets Laboratory. Interdisciplinary and applied research is encouraged. About the College: The AACSB-accredited College of Business includes nationally ranked undergraduate and graduate programs.
