Youth Program Specialist (11-Month Position)	Harrisonburg
We seek a Youth Program Specialist to support JMU and the Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services (IIHHS)’s mission and vision to provide outreach programs to the community and provide quality experiential learning opportunities to JMU students. The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program, part of SexEdVA at JMU, is a broadly targeted effort based on the principles of positive youth development and optimal health for the young people of the Shenandoah Valley. The project’s design includes the implementation of positive youth development programs, and the integration of innovative components to reduce risky behaviors among teens in Harrisonburg City and Page County, Virginia. The programs used with the SRAE program are Wyman's Teen Outreach Program, the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles Project AIM program, and the Teen Speak motivational interviewing program. SexEdVA aims to ensure that young people across Virginia have access to sexual health information that is positive, inclusive, evidence-based, and medically accurate in order to make informed decisions regarding their health. SexEdVA seeks to advance health and education equity by addressing social determinants of health through comprehensive programming for youth and quality training for the adults who work with them. SexEdVA’s mission is to support adolescent sexual health in Virginia communities through training and technical assistance, curriculum development, research, and advocacy. Windows Systems Engineer	Harrisonburg
James Madison University Information Technology is currently hiring for a Windows Systems Engineer. As a member of a team of Systems Engineers, the Windows Systems Engineer is primarily responsible for Exchange on-prem and online email services in a hybrid environment, with additional responsibilities including routine and advanced system administration of cloud and on-premise Windows software and systems. This position includes being part of an on-call rotation. A hybrid work arrangement is possible, with some responsibilities requiring on-site presence.

The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is seeking a Study Abroad Advisor to support students throughout all phases of the study abroad experience, including pre-application advising, pre-departure preparation, and post-program re-entry. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Study Abroad Advising and Student Support, this part-time role (20–30 hours/week, not to exceed 1500 hours/calendar year) works in close partnership with the study abroad programs team and advising staff to deliver comprehensive advising and support student engagement with program offerings. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and diverse international education environment. At James Madison University, Well Dukes is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Coordinator to support the continued growth and development of Well Dukes Coaching. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Personal Well-Being, the Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing student well-being through outreach and direct student engagement. This position is responsible for facilitating well-being coaching as a holistic, inclusive, and evidence-informed early intervention strategy. Using empathetic communication, motivational interviewing, and principles of positive psychology, the Coordinator will engage one-on-one with students to strengthen their commitment to health promoting behaviors. Additionally, the Coordinator will cultivate campus partnerships, grow referral pathways, provide consultation, and support the training and development of campus partners to promote and integrate personal well-being initiatives across the university.
