| The Leslie Flanary Gilliam Center for Entrepreneurship (GCFE) at James Madison University seeks applications for the position of Assistant Director. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Assistant Director will play a key leadership role in advancing entrepreneurship education, experiential learning, and community engagement across the university and region.
The GCFE is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship and its commitment to integrating entrepreneurial thinking into the fabric of James Madison University. The Assistant Director will help expand the Center’s impact through educational programming, student mentorship, community partnerships, and operational leadership. This individual will support and manage existing initiatives related to new venture creation, entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA), student entrepreneurship, and early-stage funding while also helping develop innovative new programs that connect students, faculty, alumni, business owners, and regional stakeholders.
The successful candidate will embody the entrepreneurial mindset the GCFE seeks to cultivate – demonstrating innovation, collaboration, initiative, and a passion for supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and economic development throughout the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. |

| The Stewardship Coordinator serves as a member of the Office of Donor Relations team and is a staff member within the division of Philanthropy and Engagement with full-time responsibilities within the Unit of Philanthropic Operations. The Coordinator reports to and takes direction from the Associate Director of Donor Relations of Stewardship. Duties are executed according to the policies and procedures of Philanthropy and Engagement.
The position's core responsibility is to positively reinforce the philanthropic effort of donors and assure their continued interest in and affection for the University by efficiently providing annual reporting and correspondence that purposefully delivers accurate and impactful donor engagement. |

Vision and Accessible Media Accommodations Specialist

| The Visual & Accessible Media Accommodations Specialist is a core part of the Accessible Media and Technology program in the Office of Disability Services, supporting students who need alternative formats and/or assistive technology and prioritizing students who are blind and/or visually impaired. This position will support JMU in meeting its legal and ethical obligations to provide reasonable accommodations and equal access for students with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Depending on the volume of student accommodation needs and production priorities, the role will also assist the department with direct student services, data collection, assessment, and other technology-related projects, and externally with training and outreach on accessibility-related topics. |
